Master’s in Adult Education Internship at Tacoma Community College
Internship Fall 2023
My Fall 2023 internship for EWU's Master of Adult Education program took place at Tacoma Community College. My primary role involved observing and proposing curriculum changes for the Intro to Philosophy course, and I had the opportunity to substitute teach a 50-minute philosophy class. While I also observed History 219, my main efforts were concentrated on philosophy. Driven by a continued interest in adult education andragogy, I independently conducted a further observation in Fall 2024.

Teaching a Professional at Mindset Tacoma LLC
Taught a course to Sara Weelborg:
From August to December 2024, I privately instructed Sara Weelborg, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, owner of Mindset LLC in Tacoma. For this course, I developed a customized syllabus and course outline to meet her specific learning needs and objectives. My responsibilities also included designing assessments, producing a "how-to" instructional video, and providing one-on-one feedback to support her learning.
Philosophy Advisor & WTC Head at Tacoma Coomunity College
Philosophy Advisor and WTC Head:
As a Head Tutor at the Tacoma Community College Writing and Tutoring Center from January to June 2025, I specialized in Philosophy, Sociology, Education, and English. I played a key role in providing feedback on the WRITE140

My contributions extended to designing a logo and successfully building student interest through events like organizing a field trip to the UW Philosophy Symposium.
I am extremely interested in the philosophy of AI. I have been accepted to study an MSc in Epistemology, Ethics, and Mind at the University of Edinburgh (online).
It all starts with an idea!
Since co-founding the Lukeeta Foundation in 2019, l've been deeply involved in supporting the Lukeeta family and their community in Jinja, Uganda. We've consistently provided vital education, food, and medical support. On a day-to-day basis, I contribute by maintaining our social media platform and initially helped create the foundation's logo. This work remains incredibly meaningful to me.
My time at SkyWest Airlines!
At SkyWest Airlines, I developed valuable safety skills and gained significant experience operating under pressure. My training encompassed CRJ 200, CRJ 700/900, and ERJ 175 aircraft. This role also provided me with a deep understanding of effective teamwork within diverse environments, collaborating with individuals of various ages and backgrounds.
